  • Lots of Storage and Comfy Ride - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

I rented a 2006 Touring Wagon before I settled on a 2005 Limited Ed. The seats in the Limited were much more comfortable, and seat comfort was my "only" issue in the rental. I purchased a former rental vehicle and saved oodles off a new car PT price as a result (didnt take a hit on first year depreciation). I took my four (good sized) teenagers for a ride with the spouse and went shopping. Three teens in the back seat rated that back seat a unanimous "thumbs up". After grocery shopping and a few other stops, we still had room in the trunk! Even my husband, who is 61" and 245 pounds, found the ride comfortable, especially head room. My family thinks I finally bought a "cool" car!

  • Great Car!! - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

I love this car! We just bought the 05 touring addition last month. Took it on a trip from NC to Washington DC. Handled great on interstate. No problems so far. Average about 25 mpg, which is right on target with the window sticker claim. I went from a mini-van to the cruiser, and am very surpised at the interior room.

  • A quick, fun to drive, unique convertible - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

I owned a 2002 limited and loved the car, but always felt like it was a too slow and at times, too "Brady Bunch". I was thrilled to see the 4 door transform into a two door. I loved the look with the top up beter than the original wagon look, and once the top is down, it has one of the coolest looks on the road. My GT convertible is my baby. Red and Black. I love the sport bar, the funky trunk, the silver on the grill and the HO turbo is a blast to drive. Yes, it is not a mustang a GT, or a vette, but it wont be the last one leaving the stoplight. I have 0-60 time just under 7 seconds and that is great. it passes with confidence, handles well and looks amazi

The best little car we have ever had. Drove it to Wyo and brought mother-in-law back in it.

  • My second PT - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser
    By -

This is my second PT Cruiser. The first one had 3 years and this is almost 2 years old. I have never had to take either one in for service. I feel they have done an excellent job with the convertible. It is extremely easy to operate and fun to drive. The turbo has excellent power. I would recommend this automobile to anyone.

I have had zero problems with this car. It is my second PT and both (the other was a sedan) have been outstanding in every way. Ive had 60+ cars and these two have been two of the best.

  • A pleasant surprise - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Needed a fun car to tow behind our Freightliner(Chrysler) motorhome. Always looked down on the PT Cruiser, but tried the convertible and have been in love with it ever since. Standard transmission makes the power of the small engine very adequate- As a pleasant surprise- there is virtually no road noise with the top up, and very acceptable noise with it down. Lowest price model had all the accessories we think are mandatory (remote entry, power windows, and even compass and temperature) Chrysler build quality on this car built in Mexico is impeccable- even better than the Lexus RX300 we traded for it. Would we buy it again- yes.

  • Satisfied GT Convertible purchasers - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Purchased black PT convertible GT. Power, style, handling, all as advertised. *Very* impressive 220 hp turbo engine; after driving the non-turbo and 180 hp turbo touring edition, the 220hp is substantively different and we would suggest only the 180 or 220 if any power is required at all or if the car will be driven at high altitudes. Of course style is an individual preference, but folks definitely checked out the car on our trip between LA and San Diego.:) Handling during rainstorm was impressive; lots of standing water but traction control kept the car stable [unfortunately other cars werent so lucky -- several spin outs and accidents on the interstates]. Top goes up and comes down easy.

  • Excellent car - 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Great car. I dont know where to begin. I love everything about the car. Its great for familys, people who travel, New Drivers, pretty much anybody. Performance of a car, but SUV and Mini van features. The back seat folds down and comes out. Comfortable for five people. Great for people who need a low cost or expensive car.
